GAME THREE
The Cougars came to play in their third game of the weekend against Indian Hills. NICC jumped on the Warriors early with three runs in the top of the first inning, thanks to some poor Indian Hills defense, and a Colin Teske single to right. The pitching staff limited the Warriors bats for the first two innings, but Indian Hills tied it up in the bottom of the frame at three. Both teams added one run in the fifth, with Ben Linberg singling in Rylan Kingrey for NICC. In the bottom of the seventh, Gage Perri drove in the game-winning run for the Warriors, as they won 5-4.

Colin Teske - 1 H
Jack Schmidt 1 H
GAME FOUR
Much like game three, the final game of the series was close throughout. Indian Hills jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning thanks to a throwing error and single. The game then went scoreless until the top of the fourth when NICC's Schmidt and Bahl each had RBI singles to tie the game, 2-2. The Cougars took the lead for the first time in the top of the fifth, when Gavin Harrington reached on a fielder's choice, but the Warriors quickly answered to tie it in the bottom of the frame. A two-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth by Perri was the nail in the coffin, and Indian Hills completed the weekend sweep with a 5-3 victory.
Game four performers:
Harrington - 2 H, 1 RBI
Bahl - 2 H, 1 RBI, 1 SB
Reed Adler - 5.2 IP, 4 ER, 4 SO
