“Education is a top priority for the Esports team,” Head Esports Coach Verrick Foust said. “All my students understand that academics always come first, and achieving success in their respective majors is our ultimate goal.”

“To have four student-athletes get recognized this year is a great accomplishment,” Head Coach Anthony Sisneros said. “The growth that I noticed was that the athletes were getting more competitive, not just with the other teams, but also with their teammates and themselves."

"I’m thrilled that we were unanimously voted into the NJCAA and will also be competing members in Region 11 within the ICCAC,” Athletic Director Nick Weinmeister said.

Sports shooters split meets to end September

Cougar athlete Taylor Reinhardt (91) finished third for females individually, while Colton Tollefsrud (98) and Tristan Lewison (98) tied for first in the male individuals. A shootoff between the two ultimately crowned Tollefsrud the top shooter on the day.

Their first weekend match came against Kirkwood, and the Cougars won with a score of 480-460.
