Bio

Jakob Kirman, owner of Xtreme Strength and Sports Performance, joined the NICC Baseball coaching staff in the spring of 2025.

Kirman, a Dubuque native, joins the staff after serving as the Pitching Strength and Conditioning Coach at Clarke University from 2021-2023. While there, he coached multiple all-conference selections, an NAIA All-American pitcher and multiple conference player of the week award winners.

During his time with his business, he has successfully trained some of the best ball players in the area. He has worked with multiple top-ten draft picks and currently trains multiple professional ballplayers both in the offseason and remotely during the season.

Kirman, a double major in school (Business and Sport Management), graduated from Clarke University in 2021. During his playing career at Clarke, he was a five-year starter, a 3x all-conference performer and graduated the program’s leader in wins, strikeouts and innings pitched. The Pride won multiple regular season conference titles, a conference tournament championship and went to the NAIA Baseball Championship Tournament 3x.

Jakob currently resides in Dubuque, Iowa, with his wife, Kylie.
