Bio
Roamn Hummel enters his role at Northeast Iowa Community College with a strong background in both coaching and education. He spent the past 16 years as the head baseball coach at Cascade High School, where he built a highly competitive and respected program. During his tenure, four teams qualified for the Iowa State Tournament, including two semifinal appearances.
A former collegiate player, Roamn played baseball at Kirkwood Community College under head coach John Lewis before continuing his career at the University of Northern Iowa under Head Coach Rick Heller. Roamn earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa and later completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Loras College. He resides in Cascade with his wife, Brooke, and their three sons—Cooper, Carson and Gannon.
